Tiny Tots: (Ages 2-3 years) This instructional 45 minute coed class is designed for parents to be on “stand-by” and near the gym floor, as we begin to transition our tots to attending class independently. Children will be using our recreational gymnastics equipment. We’ll be working on developing gross motor skills through movement and balance. Instructors will plan classes based upon skill level of class participants.Tiny Tykes: (Ages 18 mo-2 years) This instructional 45 minute coed class is designed for a parent and tot. Learn fundamental gymnastics skills including the introduction of handstands, cartwheels, and plenty more! Children will also learn skills on the balance beam, vault, and bar. Come dressed in tennis shoes and active wear. This class will focus on proper cheerleading techniques all while having fun. Learn to tumble, do jumps, perform stunts, and even learn new cheers. Instructors will have poms available for use in class.Ĭalling all Cheerleaders! Jump, tumble, stunt, and cheer your heart out. This hybrid class also offers instruction in jazz technique, including big energetic moves like leaps, jumps, turns, and unique footwork.

Shake your pom poms to pump up the crowd and cheer on your team! Learn the fundamentals of poms from arm and leg placements plus technical skills, flexibility, and synchronization. Participants will learn these beginning movements with an emphasis on creativity, socialization, and listening skills. Learn the basic gymnastics and tumbling movements on the floor, vault, and balance beam. Leotards and ballet slippers are welcome but not required - no large tutus please.

If you are looking to learn what both disciplines have to offer this class is perfect. It is a great stepping stone to the Head Over Heels class! We will continue to emphasize fun and socialization in classes.īallet + Kidnastics = FUN! This is a combination class where introductory tumbling and ballet skills are taught. Children will continue improving the skills taught in the Beginner class and be challenged with new movements and tumbling skills to work on. This class is designed for children who have participated in Topsy Turvy Tykes – Beginner and have a great comfort level with all the skills and activities presented. Children will learn basic tumbling skills on the floor, balance beam, vault and bar, all while making friends and having fun! When skills are mastered here, kids can move on to the Topsy Turvy Tykes – Advanced class to develop their skills further! The Topsy Turvy Tykes – Beginner class is a play filled class entered around age appropriate tumbling movements with an emphasis on socialization and group interaction. Get ready to move and groove in this parent/tot class. Parents will help guide their young dancer through these movements.

With a focus on creative movement, the class will use songs and props such as ribbons, scarves, and bean bags. This interactive program is great for young children to learn the basics of dance. Children must be able to walk without assistance. Please wear comfortable clothing that permits movement and socks.

Participants must come dressed in comfortable clothing that permits movement and socks. Our instructors are USA Gymnastics certified or currently pursuing certification. As basics are mastered, more will be introduced to keep things challenging. Skills such as rolls, balance, jumping with landing, hanging with release, and vaulting are taught as age appropriate. Kidnastics is a basic tumbling and gymnastics movement skills program that not only teaches skills, it is FUN! Our program follows the USA Gymnastics guidelines for skill progressions.
